Astrodogs is a 3D, forward moving, on-rails shooter with enough charm to change your attitude for the entire day. Now that I’ve finished the game I can say it’s short and pretty easy. Once you figure out you can go into bullet time mode and spam chainguns and bombs you can take out the bosses in one or two stuns. A few people including myself have suffered frame drops when running night races, even people that are on good hardware. Not only that, there are frame drops when going through smoke, or when you go into the gravel with particles enabled. Regarding the issues with night races, the game also looks really blurry as well when at night, so something has gone wrong with the features of it, and the graphics in general.

While the physics may not be flawless, the fun factor of the drifting gameplay helps overlook this aspect. Drifting through corners and maintaining control over your car is a thrilling experience that keeps you engaged. The sense of satisfaction when executing a perfect drift or linking multiple drifts together is unmatched, making you feel like a Decepticon leaving a trail of chaos in your wake. Despite its focus on customization and drifting, CarX Drift Racing Online could benefit from further refinement in its physics department. Nevertheless, if you’re a fan of car customization and enjoy the adrenaline rush of drifting, this game offers an enjoyable and immersive experience.
