From weapon remodeling to character appearances, much more detailed customization is possible. Night Vision and many accessories have been added to increase the depth of customization compared to previous games. With a more powerful customization and squad system, in addition to being able to flexibly change tactics to fit the situation, the importance of each squad member and tactical changes are more important than ever in Apocalypse. Artillery support from self-propelled artilleries, air support from attack helicopters, and combat drones can be part of the squad, in addition to the powerful tactical weapon “Battle Armor”, which you can embark on and ride into battle.
Bad 2 Bad Apocalypse Pre-Installed:
I’ve had an itch for a squad game with gun modification and equipment management. This hits those checkboxes. Gameplay loop is simple, maybe too simple, but it’s fun to see your kitted out troops running around looking badass. It’s got the typical issues associated with 2D games, but if you’re fine with the visual style it’s worth checking out. My only initial gripe, perhaps due to its mobile origins, there is way more space to the left/right on the screen than top/bottom. It’s made so much worse on 21:9 aspect ratio. With the ability to move in all directions and playing on monitors instead of phones/tablets it’s worth zooming out a bit.
