We’ve recently updated our demo — the first third of the game is now available for free! Once you’re done, you can continue where you left off in the full game. Carving through hordes of horrors isn’t the only thing your boomerang is good for: once thrown, you can slingshot directly to it, preserving momentum and launching yourself through the air. Slow down time and use well-aimed throws to get around, above, and behind your foes. Speed is everything, and only the nimblest boomerang-er will survive… Fight otherworldly forces and look cool doing it. Impress the boomerang with stylish tricks and it’ll grant you strange powers to let you defeat the forces of the depths with greater ease. Kaspidae smiles upon you and your killer moves…
They creep and crawl from crevices, swoop and dive from the treetops, and spray nasty bile at you from all angles. Keep your wits about you — nowhere is safe. Whatever you do, don’t stand still, or you’ll surely be consumed… Fight your way through the bowels of a ruined civilization and stop the nightmares from spreading to the rest of your world. Something lurks deep underneath these ruined halls, spewing corruption… can you defeat whatever it is? And even if you can… will that really be the end? If you’re a story fan there’s not much for you here but don’t let lack of story deceive you to mean lack of style or substance, Boomerang X has plenty of that. You essentially go room to room in arena based combat unlocking new skills and facing harder challenges as you progress, with new enemies being added to keep combat fresh.
Boomerang X Pre-Installed:
The Boomerang feels great to throw and fight with, as you unlock more moves combat really comes together to have a great ebb and flow to it. One of the best movement shooters I’ve ever played. Your only weapon is a projectile based boomerang which you can pull yourself to, and with that simple mechanic gameplay is ridiculously frenetic, fast paced and vertical. Over the course of the game you will also get additional abilities to spice up your playstyle and open up lots of potential for styling. My only complaint is that it’s very short, like, 3 hours ish to beat base game and NG+, but all that time was so worth it, and the length can be considered a strong point; quality over quantity, if you will.

- Once the game is done downloading, right click the .zip file and click on “Extract to” (To do this you must have 7-Zip or winrar, which you can get here).
- Double click inside the Boomerang X folder and run the exe application.
- Thats all, enjoy the game! Make sure to run the game as administrator and if you get any missing dll errors, look for a file named All In One Runtimes.exe run this and install it.
