I’ve played the game for about 12 hours, I’m 75% of the way through and have been doing all the side quests. So I expect it to be around 16 hours or so. The story does a fantastic job humanizing Sylas rather than portraying him as a villain like I feel the league trailers do. Occasional camera bugs that didn’t take too much away from the game. I never really did like Sylas as a character, but after playing this i grew to like him. I thought the characters were interesting. The Gameplay is very satisfying, knowing what spells to steal to punish your enemies efficiently made it feel tactical and calculation in my approach to battle. The spells were cool enough for me to enjoy, but i can understand someone not enjoying the variety.
BroChicken Direct Play:
The Gameplay near endgame does get kinda repetitive but it doesn’t late very long. The combat system is snappy and engaging, but some of the audio can be confusing at times The first thing that should be addressed is that this is not a Dark Souls game, it is a souls like game created by a team of around 15 people. It is easy to tell that this game was inspired by Dark souls, however, the overall mechanics and the way it plays out is not going to be exactly like Dark Souls, and people need to keep their expectations in check for that. The first major complaint I am seeing a lot of is the fact the game is unforgiving and difficult, or the enemies are hard and do not have consistent attack movement.
