It has online rankings, a daily challenge, and a multiplayer mode that I admit I did not try but is surely empty of players, so “with friends or nothing.” As we play, we level up, unlocking more cards and cosmetics to customize that keep the incentive to keep playing it. I have played this game both solo and with friends and I got to say I love it. There is nothing sweeter than hearing one of your friends curse your very existence just because you knocked them off the map.
But the replay value of the solo game is where this game really shines, mixing the gold aspect with deck building and resource management makes for a great challenge that I keep coming back to. But honestly, the game is still just plain fun, and it’s fun to keep going round after round, choose different paths, make different decisions. It’s really great for anyone that likes mini golf games and gets tired of the same courses! Giving it a thumbs up! There are more imaginative holes, more features, and almost a puzzle like attitude is needed to solve some of the holes. The amount of content has also been increased with four distinctly different biomes with an aquarium, a laboratory, a twilight garden, and a toy store aesthetic. Each of these biomes has their own set of rules revolving around the theme, so there might be air bubbles in the aquarium which you can use to jump gaps, and teleporters in the laboratory, for example.

Each hole has up to three stars to collect, depending on how many shots you took to complete the hole, and earning stars gains you achievements. There’s also mini gems on the course to collect which can buy you new balls, flags, trails, celebrations, and some imaginative noises when hitting the ball. There’s also a huge red gem which you can collect, but these almost seem impossible to collect sometimes, and apart from it being marked on the map as being collected, I wasn’t quite sure what the purpose of these were apart from the challenge. You can also rotate the course easily to get the best view of your shot. Occasionally, the ball would go out of bounds but the shot would not reset to the last known spot like it should, so I had to restart the hole. It didn’t happen that often but it did happen enough to mention it as a bug.
