About The Game
Play with up to 8 people in this fast-paced, movement-centered action game. When cursed, you are assigned the role of passing the curse onto another player. Use the speed and energy bonuses given to you as a cursed player to your advantage to rid yourself of impending doom. When not cursed, you have to run away from the player carrying the curse. Strategize and position yourself appropriately with the various objects placed at your disposal. Use the bouncy walls to redirect momentum, as the cursed player is capable of outrunning you. As the timer ticks down, death only lurks closer and closer. Upon death, the cursed player is blown up into a million pieces. After this, the player closest to the dying player will be the next one cursed. Should you be the last one standing, you win the game. Dynamically crafted soundtrack with music changing as the game progresses. Numerous customization options to make the game appeal to your liking.
Lobby settings to include a twist on the default gameplay. Different maps to choose from, all with their own unique style. Proximity voice chat so you can speak as your friends pass you by. Easy to learn, hard to master. The grappling hook alone can provide you with hours of fun, and you can learn by swinging while waiting for a new round to begin. It is still quite early on, and the concept is cool and the design/ art style fits quite nicely but it needs more, ability to find servers is basically 0 so friends are needed, gameplay still quite basic the addition of new maps did help but not being able to change map in-game sucks, addition of power ups and maybe having different movement other just the grappling hook and running would be nice.

Much of APT will have you crawling around, eluding both rats and guards alike. At the start of the game, you will find this relatively challenging, as the guards are perceptive, and the rats are a swarm of flesh-hungry rodents. The need to hide diminishes vastly in the latter portion of the game. As you progress across France and meet new orphans along the way, Amicia will learn new ways of defending herself and better methods of avoiding the plague. These come in the shape of alchemical draughts, which can knock out guards and scare away rats, which I will touch on more below. The second main mechanic in the game revolves around the rats. The rats are photosensitive and absolutely hate the light, which gives you perfect methods of avoiding them and clearing paths. Many of the alchemical creations you will make will be to this end, such as; Ignifer which is used to light flammable sources from a distance to create small pockets of refuge in the dark.
