Chillquarium Video Game is a relaxing idle game, where you buy fish and raise them in real time, then sell them to turn a profit or keep them around to earn money through ticket sales! a safe haven for gacha addicts. the game has everything and it doesn’t cost a cent after you buy the game. it’s got shiny hunting mechanics, economy management, card pack (lootbox) opening, aquatic interior design, and it’s all wrapped up in a pleasing aesthetic. min-maxing qol is great with the filters in the fish screen. but economy is definitely on the slower side in the beginning as it’s designed to run offline. it’s also a nice screensaver too While it is an idle game and you can let it play that way, you can choose to become more involved in order to help your fish population mature quicker so you can sell those fish to earn money to buy fish packs that are more costly. Once you have obtained more money you can use it to upgrade the size of your tank.
When you left-click on a fish you will be shown the type of fish, and how many points they currently have of the required number they need to reach adulthood. You’ll also be able to see what price you can sell them for at that moment, and whether or not they are adults or still growing. The rarity of the fish, if it is a painted or golden fish is also shown though sometimes you will have to wait until it has reached adulthood until the rarity and name of the fish is shown if it is the first time you’ve owned that fish. To feed your fish hold down the RIGHT mouse button. You can move the mouse around in circles, up and down, or however, you choose when feeding your fish. Believe me, the hungry, hungry fishes will most certainly find it. Don’t worry about the cost because the cost of feeding your fish costs nothing – it is completely free. This is one of the sweetest parts of the game because you will be using what seems to be infinite amounts of it to grow your fish and your aquarium.

This game is really fun, the sprites look amazing and the gameplay loop feels satisfying without dragging on for too long. Reaching new packs of fish or unlocking rare fish feels rewarding, but it’s not SO time-consuming to where you lose interest. The pacing is well thought out, and the painted and gold varieties give a fun collect-a-thon for those into that sort of thing. Couldn’t recommend this more if you’re looking for a relaxing “play twice a day” game with great visuals. Very addictive, this is a relaxing cookie clicker set in an aquarium full of cute fish. The game, barely out of v1.0, obviously needs a LOT more content, as it’s nowhere remotely near the depth of most idle games, but it’s very enjoyable nonetheless, and the (solo) dev is already showing that he’s very open to suggestions and constructive criticism. Pick it up! It’s cheap, and you can spend either a few minutes or much longer a few times a day caring for your cute fish. Very relaxing game, collect all the fish, decorate the tank.
