Command your train to safety in this post apocalyptic zombie wasteland. Upgrade your firepower and demolish ever growing hordes of deadly zombies! This is a fresh take on the Bullet Heaven / Horde Survival genre where you define your weapon layout and upgrade the attributes of your weapons. Several locomotives to unlock each with their own stats and weapons. Plenty of fun meta progression and meaningful Steam achievements to unlock. Awesome abilities such as the EXP magnet, critical strike, air strike, and orbital strike are all earned by accomplishing achievements. Lots of different zombies and zombie bosses to shoot down or crush underneath your locomotive. Here’s a Bullet Hell survivor game that pleasantly surprises you with it’s “One more time” style of playthrough.
I’m not a train guy, so I can’t tell you the authenticity of the trains. But what I can tell you is that I watched Snowpiercer, and I enjoy trains moving fast and running through crowds of zombies and monsters. You can do that here, and it’s incredibly satisfying. An easy game to pick up and play for 10 minutes, or lose your self in for an hour or more. Fans of the genre should really consider picking this up. The game is good, it seems solid, with no bugs at all. It’s easy to understand, does not have a lot of keybindings to press, etc. It’s like a Vampire Survivors but with trains and moving. I wish there was a key to lock the train gas.
Choo Choo Survivor Pre-Installed:
The game is kind of like a mixture of Enter The Gunegon with maybe a hint of Binding Of Isaac, as well as some Monster Hunter thrown into the mix, as you have to activate these beacons to unlock segments of the bosses health bar similar to weakening them, they move around the map and you have to hunt them down and defeat them. You have several selections of trains, each with their own weapon sets and specific attributes. A handful of levels with varied enemy types, and plenty of entertaining achievements that give you that incentive to keep playing.
