Choose between two camera modes to tailor your experience to your playstyle. Want a classic, old-school vibe? Go for Fixed-Cameras mode and feel that nostalgic Resident Evil energy. Or, if you’re all about action and thrills, go for Over the Shoulder mode for a more modern perspective. And kudos for releasing a demo of the game, I purchased right after I completed the demo. Runs and looks great, puzzles are fun, combat is fun, price is right, really enjoyed the game The Nightmare Within. It’s OG survival horror, complete with inventory management, limited supplies, monsters, and plenty of puzzles. The puzzles aren’t cheap and easy either. They are really well thought out and take some effort to complete (especially the last puzzle of the game). The combat is super smooth and satisfying.

The graphics are great, and the voice acting and music are really good as well. It also lets you pick between over the shoulder view and fixed camera angles and tank controls I saw a video about this game, reminded me of Resident Evil. Gave it a shot, looks and feels about the same. Mystery puzzle solving, a bit of action, overall not bad. It takes a bit to get a hang of the game, but once you understand the mechanics its relatively easy to play I personally have not played much of the resident evil style games but this was enjoyable and really like the different puzzles. I mainly played this in the over the shoulder mode and like the atmosphere of the game. This small team did an amazing job and I’m sure for fans of this genre they will like it even more than me.
