CONTORTED – First Person Horror game Someone close to you has gone missing and you believe the only way to get them back is to take the risk and go look for yourself. Encounter variety of enemies where careful listening and observation is crucial to your survival. if you get attacked, your only options are either to react fast with your camera, or to run away. Use your camera to reveal new objects into the world, use nightvision to see in the darkness and to create new light sources. Manage your power usage by finding energy sources to recharge your battery. Look and listen carefully around your environment to find the next well and to decend down them even deeper into new and horrifying environments. Performing different exorcisms on each map combined with a decent ghost selection mean you have plenty to get your teeth into.
Until other ghost hunting games are updated or something new hits i’d grab this with 2-3 friends. Unreal engine 5 means the game looks great and feels immersive, there’s a real thick tension to every map when you are first learning the game and the variety of visual scares and sounds add to a tense experience. the different models, jump scares, equipment and ability to exorcise the ghost really set the game apart. I figured if this game was able to inspire people to make so much cool fan content, the story and world must really stay with you, and boy, was I right. The world of Signalis will haunt me for a while to come. A cute yet serious adventure game where you play as an orange cat trying to find a way to escape from a long sealed cyberpunk city, you’ll make friends and have to face enemies while exploring the city and doing your cat shenanigans.
CONTORTED Pre-Installed:
The game is pretty straight foward and requires only basic exploration skills, there are some puzzles but they are usually simple and solved during exploration. The chase sequences and stealth sections are arguably the most challenging parts of the game, but still, they aren’t that hard, so I’d say this is a relatively easy game. Interactivity is a standout feature, with nearly every object in the environment being interactable, contributing to the believability of the game world. Sure when you’ve played the game for a good while this novelty falls off, But i value a more focused experience like this that maybe doesn’t have endless content but what it does offer is a quality 20-30 hours. It’s a really fun game with a surprisingly deep story.
