You start your journey almost penniless in a port town. Get some jobs from the neighborhood and gain a humble income. Start a company of up to 4 people and divide the work by authorizing them in various topics. Purchase a land. Design a house. Build it. Decorate with individual touches and bring out your inner designer. Sell it at an auction. The land is all yours. You decide. Ever imagined starting a company with your friends? Of course, you can manage the entire process alone but it’s always funnier with friends trolling you. (Well, not pretty sure about this one.) One of you is CEO and s/he has the control over your authorization. You gain skill points as you get experienced and can decide which skills or tools that you want to focus on. Having colleagues specialize in different subjects can make your job even easier. Not all ways to make money are that difficult. You can just put some into your pocket by delivering cargo. But be careful, you’ll be carrying different types of them. You (and your company) work by contracts. These contracts may include decoration, demolish, build, logistics jobs or some of them together. For an early access game from a new developer there is a surprising amount of furniture as well as building material. There’s also just something about building a house quite literally from the ground up with a friend in co-op. Not to mention you can do things such as buy normal vehicles you can just cruise around in, have to maintain fuel for your generator at your worksite as well as your vehicle, recycle the trash you find for some extra cash if you’re willing to go through with the extra work to get it all boxed up and transferred to a factory, customize an entire office with storage, a garage, and even a pool.
ContractVille Pre-Installed:
The build planner was one of the mechanics that surprised me the most, it makes planning your entire build a piece of cake by separating the the entire build into the layout stage which basically consists of building the foundations and framework of the entire house including it’s doors and windows, and then moving on to the decoration stage with furniture/blinds/etc which makes it a lot less overwhelming as it will take you a little time to build even a small structure from the ground up. It’s exciting to see the potential with the groundwork already laid out and with it also not seeming to take itself too seriously by having jokes as a feature with are essentially emotes and you can slap your buddies around, literally. (You don’t even clean your own room? Let’s keep it a secret. No one should know you‘ll clean a whole mansion online.
