I want to say that this game is 100% worth playing. The main story is one of the most chilling horror stories I’ve experienced in a while. They have a fantastic sense of how to get under the viewer’s skin, and the art and music really drives that paranoid feeling to your core. That being said, upon finishing the game I found myself feeling very unsatisfied. With all the tension and dread the story built up to, the ending felt incredibly cliche and anticlimactic. The game also advertises a myriad of “post-game content” that unfortunately boils down to overly in your face horror segments that feel rushed and nowhere near as immersive as the main story. One of the best games that I have ever played.
Cooking Companions Direct Play:
It has unique levels with different mechanincs. Though there are some very hard levels and updates that make the game unbareably hard, I think that it is still worth the money even when you have friends who syou can play with but even if you don’t, there are still a lot of friendly people playing the game who you can play with. if you are getting this for vr and have the index or g2 this would be a mess for you. but if you have the quest 2 it works better but still has some problems. if i were you i would wait for the vr side to get better. but if you just want to play desktop it would be worth your time.
