Explore the procedural environment and discover the secrets of this apocalyptic world. Game is a lot of fun and devs are being responsive so far. So yeah it’s a casual, classic horde survival with a few traditional elements from this sub-genre. Great little survivor-like! The enemies feel pretty samey so far, but it makes up for it in the weapons and upgrades. Most of these games feel like they’re just cloning the original VS upgrades in some way, but the majority of these actually feel unique so far. The replay-ability, the expansive progression system, satisfying powerup options, plenty of Core weapons to chose from for whichever play style you prefer, challenging bosses & level.
The weapons and power-ups be it common, epic or legendary once unlocked have a very noticeable punch giving you that sense of reward. For an early access title Core Devourer looks and feels like a finished product. This game is addictive. When a run ends because you are overwhelmed by the hordes of enemies coming from all directions (because you know, no matter how good you are, this will happen), the adrenaline rush is so high that there is nothing you can do but start playing again. really like the character progression system as well as the large number of different weapons at disposal that can make each run different from the previous ones. The additional modules which can be added to the stage once you complete it the first time can further increase the level of challenge. Last thing, I hope the developers will add more stages, that would be the icing on the cake. difficulties, and so much more allows for a very fun, very satisfying gaming experience. Regardless of your gaming preferences, I would suggest at least trying it out, I can almost assure you, you won’t be disappointed.
