Core Keeper Survival Games For Free:
Game uses a combination of effort based progression and skill trees. Performing actions grants exp for related skills. Increasing your level in a skill grants passive boosts to the relevant activities. Every 5 levels in a given skill grants you a skill point to spend in a related skill tree. Combat is rather slow-paced when facing regular enemies. Pace picks up a fair bit when fighting bosses. Regardless of the pace it’s fun. I find myself routinely swapping between ranged and melee weapons. I use ranged weapons for slow moving heavy-hitters, and melee for quick enemies. Seems to work out. Very rarely I buy games as soon as they come out, especially when they are early access; but after trying the demo I just couldn’t resist. It’s so good! I spent about 16 hours playing the demo, there was so much content and things to do, it was awesome so I knew I had to buy it as soon as possible to continue the journey. Now that it’s early access they have added quite a lot more content. If you enjoyed playing Terraria, Starbound, Forager you are in for a raid. Keep in mind it’s still in early access but the devs are very active and listen to the suggestions have been making; they are currently working on new content, fixes and many other things for what I can tell in their discord.
