Cosmic Cube Direct Download
This is a refreshing horizontal version of the act game, which is still under production and has completed a simple trial version of the first level. It combines combo skills, perfect defense upgrade and other elements. Celeste is a very unique platformer game, as its storytelling has been a memorable experience for me. It does an excellent job at illustrating Madeline’s struggle through her journey, which a lot of people can relate to. The game tries its best to encourage players either by motivational messages, or by giving them accessibility options which help players practice certain parts of the game. If you’re having a bad day, this is a great game for you, as it has some of the most rewarding challenges I’ve had in a platformer. Once you get past the initial difficulty wall you reach a weird zen like state, dying over and over but making progress, listening to the music and only exhaling when you clear a screen. I just love how challenging it is, but in small digestible pieces. I never felt the game was being unfair. The music is awesome and always fits to what is going on in the story and in the environment. Celeste is a magical game.
