Countess in Crimson Game contains sexual acts such as: heterosexual and lesbian sex, masturbation, sex acts under the influence of spells and drugs. Sex fetishes in game include: anal sex, oral sex, cheating, feet, fingering, tentacles, humiliation, skin laceration, futanari. Futanari content is optional and needs to be enabled in options. Consent is given or implied in all cases but some scenes feature sex under the influence of “charm” from supernatural creatures or light drug usage that could influence the ability to give proper consent. Game also contains occasional non-sexual violence: physical assault, blood and dead bodies shown at certain moments for narrative purposes only. No such violent content is connected to or present during sex scenes. Game also contains instances of implied drug usage. All characters presented are over 18 years old. Countess in Crimson follows the story of Josh and Ashley – a young couple stranded somewhere in the Carpathian Mountains who eventually find themselves in a secluded village whose denizens live in the shadow of a menacing castle towering over the landscape.
Within the castle resides the titular Countess along with her lustful entourage. As the story unfolds, vicious plots and agendas are revealed while your choices ultimately determine Ashley and Josh’s fate. Gameplay-wise, Countess in Crimson is an interactive visual novel / adventure game hybrid with strong emphasis on dialogue and, of course, steamy and passionate romance. This game is being released as Early Access. Some things may change before the game is fully released. It looks as if the options reset when you return to the Main Menu, so you will need to set them every game. The reason for this is that the options are saved in the save game file. Per the developer this is as designed, but may change in the future. There is a brief tutorial for the different aspects of that game. There are three traits, Empathic, Impressionable, and Naughty, that determine which women a interested in you. These traits are affected by your choice in the conversations. The Empathic choice is the nice choice and the Naughty choice might best be described as what an Incel might do. There are six chapters and four endings.
Countess in Crimson Direct Play:
The ending you get is based upon your Sanity and Curiosity level obtained as you play. There are five different women that have scenes. There are scenes you can access no matter your stats. Each girl has a set of “Master” scenes that require you to meet a specific level of their chosen stat. You must play the scene minigame to unlock the bonus images for the women. There is no way to have all five women on one play through as the stats required are mutually exclusive. So you will need to play through at least twice to see all of the five women. The Futa content is not with the main character and is completely avoidable by a setting in the options, which is off by default. The Futa scenes are more like add on scenes, a follow up of an existing scene. Another masterpiece from Digital Seductions! Let’s go to the point: the renders have an over the top quality that elevates Countess in Crimson from the vast majority of other lewd games. The theme is quite dark but not too extreme or too disturbing.
