Cygnus Enterprises combines action RPG and base management elements, and is set on the alien frontier world of Mytilus. Battle hostile alien creatures and shoot your way through exotic locations. Cygnus Enterprises is a game that was recommended to me by a friend, and I would say it is worth the price. The game provides some fun gameplay with a shooter aspect that reminded me of dead ops arcade from call of duty zombies, which made me nostalgic. The story itself can be a bit confusing but it sounds interesting. The biggest problem with the game for me is the performance which is lacking s bit, and the fact that I cannot use a controller, which I think would be great for this.
This one is more like a neutral review just barely tipped positive. The fact that this game is Early Access is very apparent, as it definitely feels incomplete. It could do with more enemies, more gear, more everything. Additionally handling the base operations gets tiresome, as you must walk around to each of your buildings to check on them pretty frequently. Check your crew missions at the scanning tower, check your incoming visitors at the landing pad, check your various production buildings to make sure their queues are not idling, walk around just outside your base to gather materials and fish… and you do this after every single combat mission. It REALLY needs a one-stop control building where you can manage your entire base without having to trek all around the darn thing every day. Perhaps they will add it, I can only hope.

A good game to play casually and listen to some music in the background. The game has a chill vibe to it, although some missions can be harder and kind of annoying. The base management part of the game is a bit boring, but maybe because I don’t particularly enjoy these types of games. Bought this originally on a whim but I’m really having fun with it now. Honestly, the interactions with PEA are hilarious and hit just the right comedic timing. The gameplay is solid, even though the level progression can be a bit bumpy when I couldn’t figure out where to find certain resources.
