You have throttle, steering, horn and camera controls but can only adjust one of them at a time which means you’re going to be driving into lots of obstacles as you scramble to keep the ship going in the right direction. Fun graphics, great concept, and a native Linux version gives it a thumbs up from me. The game is simple but challenging, and there are many different maps and modes to try. The graphics are bright and cheerful, and The game is free to play, which is awesome, and it has fast matchmaking, so I can join a game quickly. The missions are not too challenging for anyone familiar with video games. It typically took only two attempts to get a gold mark on a mission, though some were more challenging than others.

One of the features I appreciate most is that you can mix local multiplayer with online multiplayer. This allows me, and my daughter to play on my PC with two of my friends online, all together. So many multiplayer games don’t do this, and I’m not sure why. Other games may support both local and online multiplayer capabilities, but it’s not at the same time. You have to do it all one way, or the other. Back to my daughter. Despite being preschool aged, and relatively new to gaming, even she has legitimately beat us a few times. The fact that it supports such a wide skill range, yet can still be fun for everyone, is such a big win. Over the last several months, UCH is the game that she has asked to play with me the most. I bet it would play just fine at five, or maybe even six players. There have been a few times when we’ve had that many people that wanted to be included. It was a slight bummer, as it felt like a lost opportunity.
