Tackle cryptics cases that will each take place in a different part of the world. Find clues to aid you on your mission to solve these cases. Once the case has been solved, you’ll be tasked with having to deal with whatever creature is responsible. Use the knowledge gained from your cases to capture these ferocious cryptids. Traps and other weapons can be used to subdue the creature, once secured, they will be displayed back at your FOB. Use vehicles to quickly traverse large areas and to escape pursuing cryptids. Be wary when driving though, hitting something while moving too fast can result in you being thrown off your bike, allowing the monster time to catch up. Freely Customize your hunter’s hair, tops, bottoms, bags, shoes, and much more. Play with up to 3 other Hunters. It’ll be much easier to secure the more aggressive monsters with some friends. Use the “Server browser” feature to find like-minded hunters if no one else is available though.

Has some of the usual early access jank to it but it more than makes up for it by being a very fun and deep experience. I was constantly impressed with the level of detail and depth put into a lot of things; like character customization, radios with channels that play different kinds of music, some very accurate and high quality ambient noise, a fleshed out base, even a hub world around it that will surely have things added to it, etc. Nothing is intentionally done half-baked or an obvious cut due to laziness or not caring The game is pretty fun! I have a few minor notes on inventory and getting trapped in menus but the game play is decent and the whole concept in general is fun! I had a great time with character customization but I do have some complaints about the female model.
