Day of Invasion Reloaded is the Finished and Cleaned up Version of the 2017 released beta “Day of Invasion 1” made with Game Guru. The Reloaded Version features new weapons, enhanced UI, Enhanced Sound Design and a new Soundtrack. In Day of Invasion, you find yourself in a dark and dangerous world where humanity is on the brink of extinction, after a viral breakout occurred in the local Facilities of Horton Genetics. Your journey begins in the abandoned village of Balthon, once a busy place, now overrun by bloodthirsty Infected. Your goal: the distant Milespring City, the last glimmer of hope for your survival. On Your way, you will find a large variety of Weapons, that will help you to fight your way through the dangerous Valley. Day of Invasion: Reloaded is a First Person Zombie Shooter with simple combat mechanics. The Game takes roughly around 20 minutes to complete. Day of Invasion was the First game we ever made.
We initially wanted to release it on steam vie Steam Greenlight back in 2017, but it got rejected. Now, 7 years later, we gave it a polish and finally put it up here in order to add another perspective to the story of the Horton Genetics Disaster. While the game may feel lack luster compared to the first installment, It’s a zombie game with an Insane Gore system with a fluid and satisfying combat system that you can end using brutal finishers, the game gives you what you WANT in a game where the basic main objective is to maim and pound the undead. While the areas seem a lot smaller than the first game size doesn’t matter in this case. Each area is designed to have a purpose and to not waste your time instead of mindlessly roaming random and copy pasted spacious areas.

The card/perk system doesn’t stop you from having different playstyles, and to be honest, the abilities you get from these cards are a whole lot more fun than what you’d get from the original. I find it pretty damn cool that the game encourages you to use more environmental attacks like oil+fire or water+electricity to maximize your damage and to ensure that you keep the dead at bay. Every kill you’d get would tickle your brain to release an unhealthy amount of dopamine. The game feels and plays different, well duh, it isn’t called “Dead Island 1, Again.”. The game may lack some things from Dead island 1, but in its own way? As a zombie game? I can definitely tell you that it does its Job really really damn well, it’s not a revolutionary game but the gore system it gives us shows a promising future for the Zombie Slaying Genre.
