The gameplay is very challenging at the start, like every game of this genre. You are fighting hunger, thirst and above all, the F…ING shark that, if you’re not careful, will eat your raft and you. Once you secure food and drinkable water production, and protect yourself and the raft against the shark, I asked my Son for help and he hosted a game for me to join. I loved it as it was the best time I had spent with my Son since my wife had died. This game has ever since brought me and my son closer again and now we actually spend time together outside the house together as well. This game reminded me that there’s fun to be had in everything, and it has brought both me and my Son many happy memories.

You need to keep all your macronutrients like proteins, fats and carbohydrates up, make sure you get clean water and you need to explore the jungle and get to know it’s plants, mushrooms and all the other things the jungle has to offer.. Basebuilding is amazingly satisfying. Crafting is logical and cool. Survival is an actual challenge and offers soooo much more detail than every other survival game. You can get infections, lacerations, abrasions, fever, poison, vomiting, parasites, worms, rashes.. and you need to avoid and/or treat them all I do not really mind what comes across my scope, as long as it’s interesting which it never gets boring. I plan to eventually get all the missing DLC.
