Dead Mire is a unique atmospheric fast-paced endless wave zombie gore fest. Ammo is scarce so you must use it tactically to dispose of as many zombies as you can with as few shots as possible. You are armed with a double barrel shotgun and you can switch between buckshot, birdshot and slugs which you must choose between wisely to maximize your damage output in any given situation. Birdshot gives you a very wide cone but short range, ideal for taking out swarms of zombies grouping you. Slugs have long range and will pass through objects and other zombies but travels in a narrow line, best used when you line up zombies behind one another. Buckshot is a balance between range and width; your bread and butter for taking out zombies along with barrels and crates. Make use of portals and bullet time to extend and break up shots, killing more zombies in a single shot. Ammo and health potions spawn from broken barrels and crates which can also be destroyed with teleported shots, traps and dynamite, maximizing your ammo conservation.
Compete against other players on the Steam leaderboard to see who can kill the most zombies before they die or run out of ammunition! The story and exploration add a lot to the game, but the achievement design give you a lot of incentive to replay the game a couple of times. Combat especially on the higher difficulties is intense without being unfair. The way that you have to balance upgrading weapons with getting ammo and healing items is interesting and allows for different approaches to the challenges in the game. An amazing remake with a great presentation. The visuals alone are worth playing the game. In this setting the engine can show off how good it can look even better than in the two city based RE remakes before.

Best game ever. The story is amazing, and the graphics even better than the play station version. The story mode itself takes around 20 hours to complete, but there’s also collectibles, different levels of difficulty, and even an unlockable gamemode for after you finish the original. You’re always getting something as well. Killing stray zombies (freaks) or marauders will earn you XP to upgrade Deacon’s abilities. The freak ears and other zombie types can also be sold to camps for credits and that will also build trust. Your bike can be upgraded upon building trust with camps. As a drifter, you’re able to go out on missions for a number of camps and establish more trust within them The mountains and areas your character play in is very pretty. There is also great storyline that takes place around the world. There are also multiple storylines to play, which includes side missions.
