With the development of this technology and its wide application, the entire town is in its heyday. The production of clones in the company “DNA Revolution” takes on gigantic proportions and the dealers sell cloned celebrities and personalities all over the world. These clones act as doubles for politicians or famous artists. The world can also use the abilities and wisdom of cloned scientists, military commanders and others. The town is prospering and the standard of living is high. And at this very moment, the town is preparing for a highlight of the whole year – the cloned beauty contest. And it is the moment where crime corrupts the town’s plans. Join the crazy police detective Francis and go through countless escapades with him in this classic point & click adventure full of comedy.
First two games had pixel art, Curse looked like a Disney cartoon, Escape and Tales were in 3D and the Special Editions of the first two games had very stylised hand-drawn art. So this series always changed its look from game to game. I think Return looks absoutely gorgeous and the art style really fits the story and the tone of the game. All the puzzles make sense and are mostly pretty straight-forward, and my few hiccups were mostly caused by misunderstanding what the art represents or failing to trigger an unexpected reaction from another character. There are 6 characters to talk to aboard a rather small ship but there’s tons of secrets to uncover and multiple endings to unlock. The game’s cast and presentation very quickly captured my friend group’s interests and kept us eager to befriend every character.

The voice acting, which was already commendable, benefits from the remaster, making the dialogues feel more authentic and emotionally resonant. It has an amazing story line, beautiful graphics and great gameplay. The only downside is that the storyline is too short, I’m 12 hours in at the time of writing this review and only have 2 chapters left, aside from that, everything about this game is great. The only aspect below my expectations is the somewhat tedious design of late-game activities, with dozens of scattered tasks causing a sense of confusion. The game itself is really nice there is a lot to do and a lot of achievements to find out about. The game is long enough to keep you entertained and has some stuff to figure out outside of the story.
