Double Dragon Advance , known as the series’ high point due to its integration of actions and visuals from all games, Double Dragon Advance returns to life on contemporary systems! It was plainly impossible for me to play this game on my Atari 65XE, but I remembered it from coin-ops. I still recall my disappointment at seeing a C64 version (?) that bore little resemblance to a coin-operated version. I recall being able to use MAME to play it on a PC. Thus, in my opinion, this is a fantastic game that will undoubtedly bring back a lot of memories for players like me. Aside from that, the game is old—old in terms of its animations, physics, and graphics—and it’s also quite brief. Double Dragon is a legend, but it’s not a game worth playing now.
The jazzy, big band-inspired music transports players back to the era of classic cartoons, further immersing them in the game’s world. The lively and energetic tunes add an extra layer of excitement and nostalgia, making every boss battle and level feel like a thrilling adventure. The game is filled with intense boss battles and platforming levels that test the player’s skills and patience. Each encounter presents unique patterns and mechanics that need to be mastered in order to progress. While the difficulty can be daunting at times, the sense of accomplishment upon overcoming a challenge is immensely rewarding. the game’s challenges together. The cooperative mode adds a new dimension to the gameplay, requiring communication and coordination between players.

However levels are no longer random and the progression is in the classic megaman style – choose any one of 8 bosses to fight in whatever order with varying difficulties Controls feel great, very tight. Any Megaman fan will feel right at home, any general side-scroller players will equally appreciate the smoothness of how well this game is designed.
