The combat is classic turn-based stuff and the animations/sound effects in battle aren’t anything special but they are serviceable.
Dragonero Video-Game:
Skills provide all the information you need to make informed decisions, but the information isn’t explained well. I think one of the main flaws of this game is that it has a lot of systems and stats going on, but they are only explained through either a pop-up tooltip or through going into the encyclopedia and viewing the game mechanics explanations. This can get to be a lot to read but since dying leads to a gameover it is better to do that than to just experiment in combat. It also isn’t very clear when an enemy is immune to a status effect which can be annoying. It would also be nice to be able to adjust the size and color of the font in game because many people find it hard to read. I haven’t had that issue personally, but I have seen it as a frequent complaint. I do enjoy the exploration element of the game, but I wish it wasn’t always so clunky.
