Gameplay wise it would be nice if the game was a bit harder and less “handholdy”. Handholdy in the sense that you’re guided to certain areas instead of letting you free-roam. Story is okay but the ending falls short, it would’ve helped if we had more time to spend with all the characters and get to know them. As you have no connections with any of characters it’s hard to really care about them. The game itself could need some polishing and it doesn’t run well on ultrawide resolutions without an unofficial patch. Look up “RoseTheFlower’s – The Sexy Brutale ultrawide and wider’s” on GitHub for the unofficial ultrawide patch. An absolutely well-crafted scenario of an extravagant gathering gone wrong that is later unveiled in a way that does not do it for the shock value or just for the twist; instead the last puzzle piece is put in place and you are offered a choice. truth or oblivion? it is a simple game even for its genre, which is greatly appreciated considering the repetitiveness of it. the puzzles are easy to figure out and it shouldn’t take more than 3 tries for each objective. after you’re done, you can still replay it for some extras and what i believe is an alternative ending though i haven’t gone out of my way to find out. highly recommended in all regards.
