Empower Cassidy with their hopes and memories to dispel the darkness of her nightmares. Another thing to note is that if the game is tampered with, it’ll wipe the entire save of everything. No notepad edits or EheatCngine here, you’re in for the long haul. As to what it does well, if you enjoyed Persona like relationship-building games, then you’ll be crafting your little heart out making breadboards and postcards for your new friends to have them upgrade their sweet sweet skills. The battles feel hard, but not overwhelming, but the RNG is absolutely unforgiving. If you roll bad weapons, you have almost no options to rectify such that I had unlocked in the 13 hours I played.

I hope you like bullet hell, because this game is a bit like Dark Souls 3 for speed of combat with the added benefit of having to be -very- careful where you stand lest it become fire when you’re not looking. You can parry as well, which makes a lot of the ranged unpleasantness bearable. The game severely punishes poor reaction time and environmental unawareness, but the art style is one of the best parts of the game. Everything is done to the same unique art style, and it was a joy to see deeper levels as you play out the Character’s life-inspired nightmares and resolve them. This is a good game. After playing for 13 hours I would recommend this game to others.
