I was wondering when they’d finally develop a game for this extreme sport. BTW Eddy the sloth rules! I got totally absorbed into the game & his cool style. Driftwood is better using a controller which took me a bit of getting used to at first.
Driftwood Direct Play:
Would have preferred if the graphics and game style were more realistic sim-like on maybe on Unreal Engine but I still love the style & feel the 2 devs brought out here. We need a simulation. Also would have been cool if there were time trials or races against friends online or in a local/splitscreen 1v1 2v2 3v3 or 4v4 type format. There’s still some annoying bugs that are too obvious, I don’t think they should be there even if this is an early access, but the gameplay is very solid and fun. I really hope they polish the maps and give them the detail they deserve, so far the scenarios are already beautiful. The game is definitely going to need a significant amount of new maps to keep this going, but yeah what we got right now is pretty damn good.
