I found the quests and characters charming and interesting for my entire playthrough. The chlichees it steeps intself in, both in gameplay and setting, felt more like a warm blanket, while the actual content does feel original. A special shoutout to a lot of secrets I did not solve in my playthrough — one of many reasons for me to jump back in, choose a different faction, play a different build and dig deeper into a world I love already. The combat is excellent, it’s difficult but not dark souls level of hard. Combat looks simple but there’s depth to it. Watch your stamina bar closely and time blocks & dodges well. The weapons each feel unique and have their own fighting style, and all of the one handed weapons have a special ability that you can use if your offhand is empty(so no shield or sling.
