Dustland Delivery Video Game is a post-apocalyptic survival business simulator. Scour the wastes for profit, complete missions to grow your trading empire, and assemble a rag-tag band of adventurers to turn your city into the capital of the Dustlands. Crew management is rather neat. Party members can like or dislike people, locations and events they find on their travels and will discuss it in their interactions, which can make them like or dislike each other. (This is another case of a system that resembles Rimworld but a bit more polished and focused, IMO). Of course, there’s the usual survival fare of bars like hunger, thirst and fatigue, but also stress, which can and will make them hate one another if you let them get too upset.
You buy a truck, find yourself another moron willing to risk their life for money and start going around just… doing stuff – trading all kinds of goods, delivering parcels, solving disputes and helping (or hurting!) strangers you meet out there. The game world does it’s own things – settlements change hands, shortages of goods pop up here and there, the usual stuff. World economy is just a bit more interesting than in Rimworld – every settlement has limited pools of money and goods. but the prices are dynamic and change depending on how much you are getting. You can’t really just go to town that makes food, buy all the food and go sell it, because at some point they won’t be willing to sell it cheaply, they would want to keep some for themselves and will hike the price. Trading menu displays this nicely with an amount slider and profit margin colored red or green, so no need for napkin math, everything is accessible at quick glance.
