The weapons in E.E.R.I.E 2,whether based on reality or fiction, they all have detailed and realistic modeling, mechanisms and animation, and most of them can be modified. Compared with the previous work, more explosive weapons such as the under barrel grenade launchers have been added. Together with the destructible objects in the scene, make gunfight more intense. Usually, the engagement area with multiple detours and the enemy with strong offensive desire constitute a challenging and interesting battle. Second and imo a bigger issue that has me concerned: Too short early access and story isn’t clear. this was a problem in the first game where the story was poorly translated and I had very little idea of what the story is or was and mission objectives often bugged out or weren’t explained.

But back to the second game, they fixed this with English voice acting and translation is better so a plus there but the story is still confusing even for those interested in Touhou. Third Person Camera is too low and awkwardly placed. it seems low to the ground rather then at mid level height where I can shoot enemies comfortably. I hope the devs read this review I am still recommending the game just based off potential and that it has done some things better then the first game already. Just like the guns the player also has some clothes to choose from, while both is limitied (gun parts and clothes) for the state of the game currently.
