Use of Blowgun to protect yourself from parasites. likable characters & excellent level designing with subpar gameplay depth that gets stale after a while. The sense of adventure & exploration kept me going, but personally, I need more gameplay depth/variation in my games. Definitely realized that Playstation’s cinematic experience isn’t exactly for me.
END UP ALONE Direct Play:
The impressive interaction between characters and the environment, along with breathtaking set pieces / scenes that keep you on the edge of your seat and add to the spectacle. Simple yet interesting puzzles. A good and somewhat mature storyline with a couple of intriguing twists. I was somewhat familiar with the series, but the characters and plot compelled me to search on YouTube for some backstory. Will that information ever be useful to me? I don’t think so, but it’s definitely time well spent. It’s astonishing how many mechanics the developers managed to incorporate into what is essentially a linear game. Most importantly, it don’t feel forced. The game is far from realistic (with plenty of conventions and exaggerations), bu you easily buy into everything happening and never want to put it down.
