Confront the rebels on their doorstep and uncover a long-forgotten secret. Mainly leaving this review for the fact that I wanna give a thanks to the team behind this game. As well also mentioning that even through my 9 hours of playtime and having played Entropy: Zero 1. This been a big step up from it’s previous tittle. After finishing the main campaign it’s been a blast to play. Even though this have been a completely free experience to get without having to pay 60 bucks as for most other triple-A tittles. I wouldn’t mind paying for it.
As to also comment for the story It’s been quite enjoyable to follow along especially after the events of the first one. I will also say that the few memes/jokes in this been giving me a good few laughs here and there. (Especially the part where you’re given an empty 357 magnum and of course spamming the locked door behind because of course you would want that ammo for it.) I heavily recommend anyone who are just a fan of the Half-Life serie as a whole or a casual enjoyer of it to give this one a go. I would also heavily recommend playing the first Entropy: Zero as well for a full story to go along with it. May the dev team behind this have a good one and may you all enjoy the bad cop experience.
Entropy Zero 2 Pre-Installed:
It can be a bit hectic for older players who have grown up with the older versions. A lot of the time, I seem to think, this is just too difficult to be fun and I’m not enjoying it (difficulty: Hurt me plenty). Often, I try and look for some sort of angle to give you an edge in a difficult section, but never seem to find one and you’re forced to resort to the same game-play in every level, which is keep on-the-move in a circle around the level, harvesting the lower demons for health and armour. It feels like its missing just some tiny element of strategy in the game play. There are some quite difficult ledge jumps, which after the 50th time you’ve failed, you’re wondering what you’re doing with your life. You get better at it, but I’m not sure what it really brings to the game, other than frustration, at times. On the whole, I like it.
