This time, playing the remastered version, I could see the cracks. It is not as much that the story gets crazy, but it does it too fast — new outrageous characters show up and disappear a little later, leaving you with often with a huge “WTF-was-that” taste, and some character motivations change a bit too suddenly. Even worse because the game spends lots of time with many trivial things — a basketball game, a boxing match, a shooting gallery… I would definitely appreciate doing less of these so the story could breath a little better.
