Brings a nice nostalgic feeling playing faithful re-enactments of the classic multiplayer games which set the stage for Esports. I hope to see some expanded storylines for this as it was a bit short but it was perfect for the price. It would also be nice to personalise your character, through playing the game there are loads of unique npc models of various appearances so I don’t think it be hard to allow the player to personalise the main protagonist matching some of these npc variants. To explain, I was playing manual. In my mind it was the best way to play in order to train units and precisely move around the map to key locations within key timings. When playing manual, I was able to train units but lost all control for commanding characters.
Esports History Pre-Installed:
I was stuck and couldn’t do anything, the only way to continue is to play semi-auto and allow reaper to annihilate you. A cinematic would’ve been a better way to visualise this or even some sort of message to say you watch the mini-game but you’ll have zero ability to act in it. Game was fun while it lasted. My one complaint about the game is that once you DO reach the “esports league” where you get to be a pro player, the game ends. Sort of wish there was more, otherwise it was fun. Saw this game awhile ago and tried the Prolouge, It hooked me. Bought it on release day and I am very happy i did, It’s deffinently not for everyone but I personally really enjoyed it, It’s a good mix of management and actually playing the games.
