The guns kinda feel weak, not saying that the guns don’t do enough damage, i think the firepower is just fine, just that the guns done quite feel as powerfull. Also the story felt at first like it could have been great, but twords the end it kinda feels more and more average. And it doesnt really take that long to beat the game. Still plays as fun as the the first trilogy on the ps2 I just wouldn’t recommend full price. The old games weren’t exactly long ones, but this one feel insanely short. The game sees you traverse multiple planets collecting various items ranging from small bolts and raritium (used as a currency in the weapon shop) to more important collectibles such as golden bolts and spybots.

There is also a variety of collectible costumes that you can dress Ratchet and Rivet up in, and a plethora of weapons that you can equip that all have their own mechanics, advantages, and drawbacks. Mechanically, this game nails it. Running around feels great, swinging feels great, zooming around with your rocket shoes is amazing. Defeating enemies is very satisfying, and the bosses are really fun. Visually, this is among the best looking games I’ve ever played, if not *the* best looking one. Turn those settings up and you’ll feel just like you’re there. A very handy “frame generation” option allows for your FPS to skyrocket even on older hardware (I played on a computer with an RTX 2080 card on high graphics and stayed around 100 FPS, dipped into the 70 FPS range when there was a lot going on).
