Battle your enemies in top-down, tactical physics-based action combat and overcome thrilling duels at the tip of your sword. Loot your fallen adversaries for better gear and upgrade your vessel to suit your playstyle in order to survive the next fight. Monitor your resources closely, or risk being stranded in space. Die and try again. Return to the throne room after each defeat, unlocking new boons to give yourself an edge on your future runs. Meet new faces and seek guidance from old friends, as you’ll expand the court throughout your journey. I have played several games that are similar to this and compared to them, this one is far more polished. I also like the medieval weapons and melee combat. There are a lot of slots where you can equip upgrades which should make runs unique. That said, I have played too little to confirm the depth of the game but it looks promising thus far. The only aspect which I wish was clearer at the start and took me a bit to pickup is the upgrade system, you essentially have 3 skills, Red, Green and Blue which relate to Brutality, Survival and Tactics; what they’re called isn’t important but the game doesn’t make it super clear how importing stacking one of these is, once you realise that and start doing it, you get further and are more successful in your runs.
