About The Game
Long ago, the Vile God and the Goddess waged war with each other. Equally matched, they were sealed away in another world… Now a lazy young man named Fang somehow finds himself a key part of this war he’d really rather not deal with, but fate beckons in this uncommon RPG! More Flash & Flair! The world of Fencers and fairies gets updated with a 1080p graphic overhaul! Fairizing never looked so good. Really Reluctant Hero With a hero more interested in his next meal and a fairy partner who will have none of it, this saving-the-world narrative is injected with oodles of madcap humor! High Tension! Increase the Tension gauge in battle by dealing and receiving damage. The higher it is, the more damage you’ll dish. Once it’s high enough, you’ll be able to Fairize – combining with your fairy to create a super-powerful form! Fairy’s Fate Find fairies to join you in your quest – only they can grant you special abilities, and by leveling them up you’ll also increase your effect radius in… World-Shaping! Pull Furies from the Goddess and Vile God and place your fairies in them. You can then stab those Furies into the world map for new effects in nearby dungeons like EXP boosts or enemy changes – be careful though, because not all effects are good.
I am unsure on how to start with this review, the game does so many things in a transparent, simple surface design intention in both story and gameplay mechanics to a point where it would seem like a terrible game on paper. Yet, after fully completing the game, I would argue otherwise! (By the way, completing the game is pure insanity. Thus I would suggest you refrain from even having that slight idea on this game or any other title from the same studio!) people tend to compare this game with another title by the same studio due to their similar mechanics, the Hyperdimension series. I will not be doing that, instead I will try to judge this game as it is. Also, again I state, even though most of what I say here will probably sound unappealing, check on the bottom of the review for there I will try to justify why I believe that is not the case. All JPRGs have a storyline. Some are good, others are horrendous. This one is leaning towards the bad, unfortunately. It is basically just “There is a goddess of good and a god of evil, they both are in a state of hibernation. We must revive the goddess of good by collecting some stuff and so on!” You can basically tell where this is going by now. There is nothing that interesting about the story and it is rather transparent to be frank.
Fairy Fencer F PC Pre-Installed:
Most of the story is presented in a Visual Novel fashion of storytelling. If you have played a visual novel before you would immediately understand what I am referring to. If not, however, it is basically just showing a 2D picture of a character whom is supposed to be conversating, with animated mouth movement and maybe the occasional one hand raising up, and that is it. It was intentional to have the story be a Visual Novel, but it felt lazy in a way. Also, there are only a hand full of 3D animated cutscenes, so yeah… One of the strong points of this game, yet not strong enough to compete with other titles, I dare say. Since this is a JRPG you would expect a large party of characters, and you are correct. except, in terms of character development, only three are affected. And the rest are just there. When inspecting each character individually, they are all one-dimensional. Each one has just one unique trait and personality, that is it. Yet when together, the interactions and dialogue are truly great! I do like the comedic side of this game and how these one-dimensional characters were able to bring that sense of comedy to life. I won’t explain character traits here. But believe me, one look at a given character says it all.
