I am constantly learning new things about this game, the community is wonderful, there are so many amazing mods out there, it truly was and still is the cornerstone of roguelikes, many other amazing games wouldn’t exist without it. There is just so much to love about this game.
The story, while simple, has made me cry multiple times (I wish I could give Isaac a hug, poor little guy needs one), the music is consistently great throughout the entire game, I constantly find myself humming the downpour theme.

It’s got action, it’s got strategy, and it’s got more twists and turns than you can imagine. The gameplay is just tremendous. We’re talking about a game that’s smart, very smart, and it’s got a depth to it that’s just unbelievable. The graphics, folks, the graphics are just terrific. They’ve got this unique, very unique style that you don’t see anywhere else. And the music? Let me tell you, the music is absolutely top-notch. It’s powerful, it’s moving, and it really gets you into the game.
