Flight Of Nova Direct Download
Flight of Nova is a space and atmospheric flight simulator in which you control spacecraft on and around NVA-31, a full-scale planet. You will fly an assortment of craft doing transport and search missions in an environment with realistic aerodynamics and orbital physics. Flight Of Nova features two gameplay modes: Multiple maps containing a series of missions and Rogue Mode. I have about 130 hours played in this game, and I’m a huge fan of it. But I’ve avoided writing a review until now because I was waiting until I could say the following honestly objectively: If you enjoyed the demo, I think you will find the game worth the price. After the update today, I think that’s going to be true for almost everyone who finds the demo fun. I think that’s really all that needs to be said. The full game adds quite a lot; and if you played the demo and found yourself wanting to do more things like that, that’s what you’ll get.
In saying that, I’m trying to tone my personal enthusiasm down and be objective. And I do have to tone it down quite a bit to not sound like a fanboy. But I think you’ll know within the first 30-60 minutes of playing the demo, whether the game is for you or not. If you’re not having fun by then, there’s probably nothing in the full game that would make it fun for you. But if it seems like a game you’d enjoy, it probably is. I’ve been obsessed with this game the past few days that I’ve owned it, playing it every chance I get. I’ve enjoyed these kinds of realistic spaceflight games going back to Orbiter 2006. There is just something very satisfying about executing a launch and intercepting an orbiting space station, or doing the reverse. I like having small, directed gameplay sessions and the mission system in this title fits my play style perfectly. I can pick a small surface delivery mission and have it done in 10 minutes, or I can elect to do a larger one that may take upwards of 45 minutes to an hour.

Right now there is not much else here besides the missions, however, so people wanting a story are going to be left wanting. This also isn’t Kerbal or Elite Dangerous or Star Citizen – there is nothing to do but the missions and the enjoyment you get from getting from A to B alive. No economy, no management There are a few things I hope the developer address eventually, such as several QoL ideas that have been brought up in the forum (trim adjustment, hover mode tweaks, better audio throughout, etc.) The graphics are serviceable at best and ugly at worst. I know graphics do not a good game make, but it really could use with a facelift. I’d like to see new things added like interplanetary travel, a story, more missions.
