With the help of Unreal Engine 5.2 Fort Solis realistic universe is brought to life ! An Isolated mining complex The skeleton of Fort Solis is built above and below ground. The base contains a variety of locations each with their own surface and sub surface levels. Players will be able to explore the isolated storm bearing surface, the creepy service tunnels absent of any light or the multiple departments that help Fort Solis function on a day-to-day basis such as Engineering, Medical and Communications. As the story unfolds locations can easily be revisited for additional story context or continue to serve as a backdrop to the fate that awaits Jack with each passing hour.
Fort Solis Direct Play:
It’s your regular Sci-Fi Space walking simulator with bits of mystery and horror. There are regular dialogues with a Story character like fan favourite game ‘Firewatch’. Some parts require you to do QTEs and solve some minigames, The player has to watch some video/audio logs to learn more about the story, place and the characters which aren’t mandatory but required for achievements. Overall i would say it’s completely a cinematic based game with slow paced progression, as they say just like a Netflix show. The performance so far hasn’t been upto the mark, my 4070 Ti is running it on Max Settings @FHD on just 65-75 fps on average and sometimes it goes above 85. With DLSS and DLSS3 Frame gen it runs above 100. I pity those who are playing on 2K or above. It’s honestly terribly optimized with some bad shader lags as well. Graphics/visuals though are stunning and is a proper eye candy!!! Voice acting is top notch by Roger Clark. Had no crashes so far and i have played close to 2 hours.
