Forza Horizon 2 PC , is the seventh installment of the Forza game series. This racing game is wonderful as it allows the player to play in an open world. The game offers the players, both single-player and multiplayer modes. The game allows the player to connect with their friends instantly which makes it more interesting.
The game also takes the players through hilly and snowy sites which can be quite challenging to drive especially in games like racing. The game released various downloadable packs of the contents required in a racing car. The game takes place in a fictional site which is located in the Northern part of Italy and the Southern part of France. This game offers the players three times more of the drivable location compared to that of the previous version of the series. In this game, the players will have to drive and explore to progress in the game. The car racing events in this game take place both in the morning and night. The new feature that was developed in this game is the ‘Bucket lists’. There are a group of three challenges that are timed in this version of the game series on successful completion of which the player wins the game.
That being said, the steam version recently got an update to adress some issues which many of us have faced during the first two weeks following the launch. After the recent patch I did notice few stutters while first booting up the game then it dies down 30 secs later. The LOD and draw distance are still an issue even on Ultra atleast for me but looks great in Extreme but FPS crawls to 25. After the patch, the draw distance is slightly better but far from perfect. Also I’m using MSAA 4x and it kind of looks shimmery at times, I remember this being an issue in FH4 which was fixed eventually.
