Foxhole Pre-Installed:
I was a young boy before going into this war. Just me, TheDongler, Genjimain, Guccibuttplug, and Lotus. We were young and patriotic when we joined, our minds filled to the brim with patriotic fervor by our teachers and parents. The day that we signed our names we had never felt so proud. We glowed with men’s congrats and their pats our the backs and the ladies that we kissed. We left in a grand parade with a band that played a lively tune and we gave patriotic shouts. We left to find glory and fame. How soon we found out the truth. We are posted in Callahan’s Gate. We were so excited to catch a glimpse of the homeland but instead of golden roads and green pastures, we found broken buildings and rotting corpses. The mud stuck to our boots and the cold froze our bones. We charged back and forth across trenches and barbed wire, but we made no progress. I killed a man you know. I jumped into a trench to avoid gunfire and I saw another with me, his uniform green instead of blue. I stuck him with my bayonet as he tried to charge me with naught but his fists. I see his eyes, almost surprised he was dying, in my sleep.
