Please proceed with caution. With roughly eight hours clocked in and finished with fourth route, I’d say the game offered exactly what’s on the label. The game takes a silly tone with a few dark hints then and there, it doesn’t get really dark until the endings. Aside from Saeki’s path, I think the endings are foreshadowed pretty often in other paths and you don’t really feel blindsided with what’s coming. It’s best to embrace the game expecting absurdity than anything. The characters’ senselessness plays well with the silliness of the story and acts a decent contrast to the underlying plot. I think the most coherent character is Aorta and you can only find that out by reading the history log, which also reveals a lot about his path.
