The gameplay loop is good, the worlds are packed with fun interactions and detail and I can see myself sinking a lot of hours into cleaning all of them up for 100% completion, it definitely scratches that particular itch for me. Some of the telegraphing could definitely be improved, I’ve gotten stuck a couple times bc I just wasn’t aware of a mechanic or a target wasn’t made clear, and I’m not the biggest fan of the ways enemies seem to regularly just spawn out of the walls behind you and rush you in fights for a lot of cheap hits, but none of it’s a deal-breaker so far. I’m personally not a fan of funko pops at all but I pretty much stopped caring about that within an hour, it’s a very enjoyable game in its own right.

I probably wouldn’t recommend it right now, as there are soooo many bugs that it feels like the game just wasn’t play tested, but im having fun with it even though sometimes it frustrates me a little with certain enemies, this game doesnt really have the charm of those lego games but its alright Plays just like how you remember playing the old school early-mid 00’s Lego games! Super fun, nostalgic IP’s, yeah there’s a few small bugs/lag spikes once in a while loading into a new area. But honestly it’s still the most fully released, pleasantly playable game at launch that I’ve played in a while.
