About The Game
It’s time to take a drive on the Furry Road! Funtasia is a side-scrolling, 2D racing game where the goal is simple: Drive as fast as possible to reach the finish line. Help save the beautiful, ecologically sustainable world of Funtasia and its furry inhabitants from certain death beneath tons of garbage dumped on it from space by defeating the garbage monster at the end of the track. Simple to pick up and play, yet challenging to truly master, Funtasia is all about timing and balance. The race track ripples, with hills, pits, bridges, quicksand, cliffs, and caves separating you from the finish line. Reaching the finish line requires balancing gas, brakes, and the car itself, just right (drivers do not enjoy meeting hard surfaces face-first at a hundred KPH, nor do doctors recommend it). Oh, and keep in mind that there’s no stopping, there’s only going really, really fast. Breaks are for cowards. The car’s battery isn’t known for its lifespan!

I love this genre, there aren’t any good ones on Steam! Upgrades progression looks good so far. Online tournaments are so crazy!!! Haven’t tried the local co-op, but it looks fun.

Pretty nice and funny game. The illustrations are absolutely awesome. Cars, levels and bosses are greatly designed and funny to play. The game is not that difficult but it is well balanced and push you to play again to max out every car. I’m really enjoing it. It became obvious to me as I continued this particular story arch that death of your characters is a major part of this game. The intro story gives you a short campaign where my heroes aged at the end but I was able to complete everything without anyone dying. When this second campaign proved more difficult I was frustrated and angry when a character I put my emotional investment died. As I continued this story now months later I began to realize the scope of the typical campaign outside the intro story. These games occur over several decades. At the end of one season my whole starting party retired because they had become too old to adventure anymore. A natural and organic reality that is true to life. As I worked on bringing the next generation of adventurers into the story it finally clicked and I understood what the devs were making in this game. It is a multi-generational game focused on telling and retelling human stories.
