You should pass levels to see hot pictures with beautiful girls. Both of the Guacamelee titles have to be some of the most underrated metroidvanias out there. The art direction, music, combat, platforming, story, everything works so perfectly together into one of the best and most entertaining metroidvanias I’ve ever played, which is quite a bit considering it’s my favorite and most frequent videogame genre. It’s incredibly fun from start to finish, there’s so much to explore and find, so many challenges to beat, and the combat alone is so creative, responsive, satisfying and full of depth it could be its own thing entirely. I love this franchise and I hope it gets the spotlight it deserves! to saw blades, you will be asked to do over a dozen movements to keep moving and a single mistake will make you do the whole section again, sometimes it feels like the game is asking you to do too much and the controls, and overall movement are just not optmized for the task. Guacamelee 2 is an Ok game, and you will enjoy it if you liked the first game, but will die a lot, and somethimes you’ll feel it’s not your fault. I loved the original special moves and was happy to see them return, but some new ones would have been appreciated as well. You can now upgrade skills at any point and don’t have to wait until you find a market stand.

You spend more time playing as a chicken in this game (which I didn’t like), but you do have better pollo powers so you can do more than peck when in chicken mode. The banter is cute as i said earlier. There is thought and charm in the writing. Take your time and enjoy it if you can stand the tetris.
