Gelatina is hungry is a quick-paced arcade game that mixes absurd humor and a lot of chaos to create a frenzied and fun experience. Feel Gelatina’s hunger: eat all you can to grow more and more! The bigger you get, the more things you’ll be able to eat. And the more you eat… the more you’ll grow! But beware! There will be enemies and obstacles in your way ready to stop And remember… don’t stay behind or it’ll be GAME OVER! This is a remaster of one of my favorite games of all time, Juliet is a character I have held close to my heart since I first played this game all those years ago. I love this remaster, I’m happy it was made. I even like the music changes, although I do kind of miss ‘Empire State Human. Disney Epic Mickey Rebrushed
I think anyone who has criticisms of this remaster is valid in modern day…but I say “Embrace the old way!” I missed ps3/xbox360 era games with random bugs and glitches that made the art that much more fun for me to complete. You CAN beat this game, you just have to WANT to. This remaster is very close to the original game, despite having audio bugs. The original music is not in this remaster, but there is a mod available to restore it. The gameplay is still the same, but I did turn off the auto complete QTEs. I also did try out the RePOP mode but it is very bright to my liking. Other than that, I did have fun playing this game again, and hopefully they fix the problems in it.

Before I get into the problems I’d like to gush about the things I enjoyed. The game play was really fun and engaging for me personally. I always tried to learn and use any new combos I got. I thought the visuals were nicely done aside from the weird lens flare effect they had going on. The new costumes were really nice. Re pop mode with the pop art visuals instead of blood was a very cute idea. I love that they didn’t cut anything from the re-release and kept it pretty much 1 to 1 with the original release. Some of the new music tracks I thought were pretty catchy but they can never replace the originals especially in stage 3. It just isn’t the same without Dead or alive’s you spin me round.
