A man got caught in some unavoidable circumstances and have to escape the enemy territories to the safe zones while killing the enemies and making their way through the paths of the world to reach his destination. This is a simple FPS game with an escape storyline having some modern weapon systems and 3D gameplay… In every other game, I mute voice entirely for this reason. But in Battlebit I’m happy to report that the voice chat is surprisingly wholesome and if you don’t wanna hear Fortunate Son for the thousandth time in a helicopter, it’s super easy to mute a specific player without needing to bring up menus or scoreboards or anything. The grind for weapon unlocks is better now but still takes a while to get the guns you want to use. The weapon camos are not great considering how many kills it takes to unlock em. Some of them just being a solid color. Cool another shade of white for 1000+ kills.
Cheaters and anti cheat. Currently you do run into blatant cheaters from time to time. It is pretty difficult to tell if somebody is wall hacking or using some less than obvious cheats because of the short time to kill and not that great spectating options. I have had issues with the current anti cheat just once and it fixed itself by restarting the game. The addition of clans and stat tracking invites the type of players that abuse meta weapons that can really make the experience a bit jarring for a casual player. The gameplay feels extremely fun once you really start to upgrade your exo suits and put modules on your character that changed aspects of their play style. Their is a samurai tank character built around gaining energy from taunting dinosaurs then parrying them and it feels like something so goofy in concept but so fun in reality.

Respawn’s level designers aren’t afraid to go big either. This game has some amazing level scale, in a lot of levels you’ll feel tiny as a pilot as you go across these massive areas, and sometimes you’ll still feel small even while in your Titan. One level I particularly love has you go through a massive factory with tons of moving platforms, the scale feels huge, and the level design really doesn’t restrict your movement at all. Think of the opening of Portal 2, but on an even larger scale and with great fast-paced movement. Combat overall isn’t anything special, but it usually isn’t in most first-person shooters if you ask me. The sound design means shooting enemies is satisfying and the movement combined with the shooting can create some cool moments. Character customization is one of my favorite things about the game. You get some decent camos and good options for armor/equipment.
