About The Game
Let’s vanish some ghosts! Shoot, run, throw grenades, explore indoor places, have some fun and get a little scared. In this action game you will be hired to terminate all the ghosts from haunted places. You will be equipped with different kinds of special anti-ghost weapons. Listen carefully to detect any ghosts that might be getting close to you, otherwise you’re dead! Earn Ghost Points while killing ghosts to buy more weapons. It is a fairly short game, took me about 33 minutes to complete on medium difficulty. However, it is very simplistic and easy to learn. There aren’t any jumpscares and there are plenty of checkpoints, so you don’t lose all of your progress. The only issue I’ve come across is that there isn’t an option to adjust the in game volume. The default audio volume is also loud, which makes it inconvenient when in voice chat with a friend. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this game to those who prefer plain gameplays and nothing overcomplex.
Personally I thought it was fantastic. The level design, the simple but tough combat, the soundtrack, and the isometric viewpoint all contribute to making this one of my favourite games of 2021. I cannot overstate how brilliant I thought the level design was. The plentiful shortcuts make backtracking simple while the elements you see while still lacking means to interact with them tell you that you have plenty of reason to come back and explore the area later. I also liked the lack of a map. There was no constantly stopping to pull up a map, or looking at a minimap the whole time. You just explore and memorise. It was a nice change of pace.
Ghost Terminator Pre-Installed:
The weapons are fun to use, and each one is different enough from the last. Different atk power, swings in a “combo”, range, etc. Game is linear for the most part, unlocking certain things with new abilities you get, however, there is some small part of allowing you to explore how you want. I had to look up how to get 2 shrines, and 1 weapon. Other than that, most things have been fairly easy to find, although I tend to explore the most before moving onto another area. The story is simple, but not boring. I’m almost done with the game, excited to see what happens next and how it all ends. It’s not a complicated story, it’s not extremely in-depth or lore-heavy, but it’s a fun story that’s pretty easy to track.
